ROLE:

We are looking for an IT Engineer to provide specialist support to one of our clients.


You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission-critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.

You will report to the Chapter lead within the Digital Workplace Team responsible for managing enterprise and government accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and resolve operational problems with the Problem manager.
  • Maintain the risk register with the Customers Operations manager.
  • Write and improve the team's standard operational procedure documents and Wiki.
  • Identify technical improvements to operational activities when required.
  • Working independently, when required, as part of a project team.
  • Adhere to, and follow, change management procedures, in accordance with Spark Change Control.
  • Undertake all work in a safe manner and follow all company and workplace health and safety procedures.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications

  • You must have the right to work in New Zealand.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearances.
  • Demonstrate strong effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Familiarity with cloud platformspecific Well Architected Frameworks.
  • Experienced in Azure, M365, Enterprise Applications (SSO)
  • Exchange Online, highly desirable
  • Azure Purview experience
  • Microsoft System Centre (SCCM, SCOM, SCEP, Orchestrator, etc.) management and monitoring products.
  • Scripting in one or more languages e.g., PowerShell.
  • Experience supporting Windows Infrastructure and Servers covering the following:


Windows Server 2016/201
  • Certificate services/Public Key Infrastructure
  • Experience creating and following standard operational process documentation.
  • Proven outstanding analytical ability and problemsolving skills for BAU activities.
  • Demonstrate good customer service skills.
  • Experience with service delivery and ITIL processes.
  • Broad understanding of technology industry trends and a real interest in new technology.
  • Experience working in an Agile workspace preferred.
