About the Role


We are looking for a Chartered Engineer to work alongside our project teams in the Lower North Island and the South Island.

You will have strong temporary works experience, have sound knowledge of planning & method engineering, and the ability to develop construction processes and methodologies to suit.

Your technical knowledge will also be sought for quality assurance to assist and establish documentation and processes for all engineering disciplines specific to the projects.

This role can be based in either of our regional offices in Wellington or Christchurch.

While the majority of your time will be spent working from your base, there will be a requirement to travel for this role across the Lower North Island and the South Island.

The key accountabilities, skills and attributes across the role will include:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (IPENZ essential).
  • Strong understanding of NZ standards relating to construction.
  • A high degree of personal integrity and work ethic.
  • Proven technical capability and credibility.
  • Experience working within tier 1 main contractor environment on large scale commercial projects
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. As a key member of the team, you must be able to communicate clearly and interact well with the project team, subcontractors and the client, building strong relationships.
