In this role you will be responsible for bringing in thought leadership to support the Data Strategy and Governance pillar within our growing Data and Analytics practice.

You will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of data strategy and governance initiatives while providing expert guidance to our clients in optimizing their data management processes.

You will drive the adoption of best practices in data management, governance, and utilization. As we scale up, there is an opportunity to lead a team of data professionals.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead consulting engagements with clients, advising on data governance frameworks, data quality, compliance, and overall data management strategies tailored to their specific needs and challenges.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with client's business objectives, leveraging industry best practices and innovative approaches to drive value for clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs, and identifying opportunities to offer tailored solutions that add measurable value.
  • Collaborate closely with other practice leaders, sales, marketing, and technology teams to integrate data strategy and governance solutions into broader service offerings and gotomarket strategies.

What You'll Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in data strategy, governance, or related roles within a
    consulting firm
:

  • Strong expertise in data governance frameworks, compliance (such as GDPR, CCPA), data quality management, data architecture, and data lifecycle management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex data strategy and governance projects, managing client relationships, and driving business growth driving through presales/sales pursuits.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage a diverse team of professionals.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies and solutions.
  • Ability to influence and drive change in complex organizational environments.
  • Certifications such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or DAMA (Data Management Association) certifications would be advantageous.
