We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our sales team, a key team member to contribute to the sales objectives of the business, focus on growing sales, by developing new relationships as well as implementing account management practices to retain and grow our existing client base.

In this role, you will engage with customers and rural retail stores daily across the entire South Island, requiring travel and overnight stays.

Ideally, candidates should reside centrally (around the Christchurch/Timaru area) to effectively cover the whole Island.

Agri Sea offers a supportive environment with a dedicated team of Field Consultants across the North Island and a head office in Paeroa to assist you in your sales role.

You will report directly to our Chief Executive Officer.
Your skills and experience; Proven experience in sales or consultancy, with a track record of supporting farmers.

Ability to be self-motivated and a great team member High levels of integrity and a strong work ethic, doing what you say you will do.

Proficient computer skills, including CRM systems, Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs), and Microsoft Office suite.
Strong interest in delivering solutions that achieve business outcomes, now and for the future.
Willingness to travel.

Key responsibilities will include:

Sales Management:
Maximize sales and market share within the assigned territory and assist in developing effective sales strategies.

Customer Service / Business Development:
Deliver exceptional customer service to existing clients and identify new business opportunities.

CRM Management:
Record, maintain, and manage all customer interactions and sales activities using the CRM system.

Farm consultations:
Conduct farm consultations, visual soil assessments, analysis, and monitoring to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.

Target Setting and Achievement:
Set and meet targets within the established KPI framework.

Business Planning:
Develop business plans and manage the sales pipeline effectively.

Communication:
Communicate effectively with the wider team, community, and management.

Marketing:
Identify Agri Sea's advocates, gather testimonials and share information for newsletters and brochures.
