Mō tēnei tūranga - About the role The Communications Coordinator supports the National Manager Communications and Engagement and the wider communications and engagement team by providing a wide range of support across the team.

On top of the day-to-day support, the Coordinator Communications will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects in different spaces, including social media management, events and marketing.


On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Provide support to the National Manager Communications and Engagement through diary management, travel booking and other support as required
  • Effectively manage a shared inbox
  • Oversee the team's financial administration processes, including invoicing and month end reconciliations
  • Support management meetings with minute taking and various other support.

In this role, you will need to be flexible and have a can-do attitude.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Some experience providing administration or coordination support
  • A qualification in a relevant field, such as communications, journalism, marketing or graphic design
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A really good attention to detail, especially with spelling and grammar
  • The ability to work as a cohesive part of a bustling team
  • Great time management skills and with the ability to work to deadlines.
