We have an exciting new opportunity for a mental health nurse or allied health clinician to advance their career within the mental health and addictions service.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team of passionate Mental Health Clinicians & Support Workers who support one another to affect change and make a sustainable difference in the lives of tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau, and in the communities they work with.

This will be a busy role, the rewards significant and you will be supported to establish yourself in the role and help lead the team.


Responsibilities of the role:

  • Part of the ICAMHS leadership team
  • Provide leadership and clinical support to all team members
  • Manage waitlist referrals, allocation and other tasks as delegated by the CNM
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with your colleagues across mental health & addictions sector, both internally to Te Whatu Ora and externally with our NGO cluster partners
  • Act up as CNM / TL as required

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Full registration with the registration board of the relevant discipline
  • Full current clean driver's license
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in ICAMHS (current)
  • Experience in clinical leadership (preferred)
