POSTION SUMMARY


This is a Dunedin based role and your territory encompasses day trip travel to Oamaru to the north and Gore to the south.

Central lakes area of Twizel & Tekapo are also included as seasonal visits.

You are responsible for being a single point of contact for all sales related aspects within your territory.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Ensure achievement of agreed targets/KPI's for the territory
  • Implement, follow up and update Field Sales cycle plan for the assigned territory, inclusive of customer engagement
  • Responsible for the execution of cycle plans in store. Support the development of Field Sales cycle plans by providing feedback on the current cycle plan activities execution.
  • Responsible for concise and timely feedback on instore execution of the cycle plan through technology.
  • Coach, motivate and develop Merchandisers as an enabler of improving quality of execution.
  • Create and sustain customer sales at an optimum level through distribution, placement, and display.
  • Drive growth and have ownership of territory sales targets.
  • Plan and execute aligned Category focused strategies.
  • Manage end to end territory activities, including administration tasks.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL


Armed with at least 2-3 years of sales experience ideally within FMCG grocery sales, well-developed communication, and interpersonal skills, you'll enjoy growing and maintaining existing relationships to actively promote our range of products to our customers.

A proven history of achieving strong sales results and leveraging relationship to attain tangible results will be beneficial.


This is a rewarding role for someone who can juggle multiple responsibilities within a busy portfolio ranging from planning, sales to administrative activities.

You'll also be tech savvy; in other words, proficient in using Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook and Excel and running a field-based CRM tool.
