Take your teaching and training interests to the next level and support the development of the next generation of radiation oncology medical physicists.

The Clinical Training Coordinator supports registrars and supervisors across New Zealand to progress through the ACPSEM TEAP scheme. This support is provided one on one and in groups.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position working up to 12 hours per week (0.3FTE). Days and hours are flexible and to be negotiated. Applicants interested in filling part of the role with a minimum of 8 hours per week are welcomed. The position can be fulfilled from anywhere in New Zealand.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordination of the TEAP programme in New Zealand while monitoring and mentoring TEAP registrars

Your skills will include:

  • Familiarity with the ACPSEM training programme and proven recent experience in delivering adult training
  • A Masters or PhD in Medical Physics or equivalent
  • Registration on the ACPSEM Register of Medical Physics Specialists or a similar international equivalent
  • 6+ years clinical experience in Radiation Oncology Physics
