We have an exciting role within the Mental Health & Addiction (MH&A).

Reporting to the General Manager MH&A, you will be working in a team environment responsible for developing and maintaining digital information channels, which are at the finger tips for people accessing services and finding innovative ways to promote knowledge finding skills for staff, tangata whaiora, whaanau and communities.


You will be responsible for:

Developing and maintaining digital communication channels for MH&A, including staff intranet, public websites and social media channels.

Leading a variety of group and individual projects around information provision for tangata whaiora and staff, including supporting the championing of new service initiatives in line with MH&A Goals and Objectives.

Consultation and advice to management and health professionals on effective information provision and design to support community health literacy.
Providing project oversight/ coordination and support to other MH&A initiatives as required

You will ideally have:

  • A minimum of 34 years' project coordinator experience
  • Good knowledge of Digital Informatics and analytics
  • Good knowledge of current trends in digital and social media platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- oriented environment

This is a fulltime position primarily based at Middlemore Hospital.
