Established in 1970, Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) (Te Whare Takiura o Manukau) has been serving ākonga, students and the communities of South Auckland for over fifty years. MIT is a Business Division of Te Pūkenga, bringing together on-the-job, campus and online vocational education. Together with 16 Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics and 9 Industry Training Organisation our purpose is learning with purpose helping New Zealand move to a vocational education system that puts ākonga, learners in the centre. We are on a journey and this role is crucial to that journey.

- Collaborating with our Academic team to build future institute timetables with Student experience at the forefront of mind at all times
- Analysing the best use of MIT's spaces and resources to ensure they are being used as effectively as possible
- Creating and maintaining reports and managing the integrity of the data in the timetabling system.
