Mō te Tūranga | About the Role


As a SME Business Advisor you'll Support the wider SME Hubs business - Manage workflow across the business, as well as compliance & administrative tasks to ensure customer needs are met and the SME Relationship Teams are supported.

You will also deal with the customers via phone or other digital channels.

This is a part time position, 10 hours per week and there is some flexibility around when these hours can be worked.

What are the key day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?

  • Having value added conversations to clarify the current AML requirements and potential future needs of our current SME business customers
  • Provide assistance, advice and solutions to our customers, as well as providing support to the wider team to help our customers achieve the best outcomes
  • Building and maintaining relationship across a customers business, ensuring a great onboarding experience
  • Complete financial health checks and make appropriate recommends around BNZ products and services

  • Some understanding of the fundamentals of operating a small business
  • Any experience within the financial services industry would be an advantage
  • You'll love working with a range of different people and enjoy building and managing relationships are energised by helping those that work with you to grow
  • A natural problem solver, you'll be able to adopt through changes and work efficiently within a fastpaced environment
