Mission Statement:

Responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory incl. sales in excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Support internal customer service inquiries. Sets inventory parameters, inventory targets, and ensure adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will segment the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy. Defines inventory policies according to this segmentation.
  • You must calculate and maintain in the planning systems and the ERPs the inventory parameters: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, leadtime, and replenishment strategies.
  • You will collaborate with Buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier ontime delivery, MOQ, quality, leadtime, and flexibility.
  • You will work with Operations Buyers and GBS to align planning of material with call offs and ensures that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders.
  • You should manage MRP (Materials Resource Planning) exception messages on a daily basis. Supports cycle counting and/or yearend inventory counting. Conducts financial risk assessments decisions relating to inventory, conducts root case analysis when necessary.
  • You must analyze excess and obsolete/aging inventory. Takes appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing and Procurement and Logistics.
  • Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent education, preferably in Economics, or two years related.
  • Knowledge and experience on inventory calculation & analyzing, plan production and sale forecast.
  • Strong skills with teamoriented attitude in: safety & integrity, quality & customer focus, ownership & performance, collaboration & trust.
  • Solid understanding of database structures and data modeling.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Good communication skills and able to communicate with different levels in organization.
  • Fluent in English.
