**Responsibilities**:
- Directing and controlling the flow of traffic at construction sites, roadworks, and other civil projects.
- Ensuring the safety of pedestrians, motorists, and construction workers by following established procedures.
- Setting up and maintaining traffic control devices, including signs, cones, and barricades.
- Communicating effectively with project managers, construction crews, and the public to ensure smooth traffic flow.
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize potential hazards.
**Requirements**:
- Valid traffic controller certification
- Previous experience as a traffic controller within the civil industry is highly desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and in physically demanding situations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Punctuality and reliability in attending assigned shifts - stay aways and night shifts will be required
