New Zealand Blood and Organ Service (NZBS) is dedicated to saving lives. Every year, tens of thousands of generous people donate their time, blood and plasma to us for free. **About the role**
In this autonomous role, you will be responsible for providing quality assurance leadership and expert advice to projects throughout NZBS, ensuring successful outcomes comply with Regulatory and Accreditation requirements. You will work in a team-based environment alongside project and quality colleagues, building strong partnerships to help identify and mitigate project risks. Through this work at the end of every day, you know that you've contributed in some way to making a difference in someone's life.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced quality professional with demonstrated expertise in providing quality and change control support to high-level, large-scale projects in partnership with stakeholders who may have a limited quality background. Reporting to the National Quality Manager - Projects and Improvement, you will take on this cross-functional position, working with a variety of areas, in order to support the business project requirements.
Ideally you will also have:
- A commitment to successful quality leadership through influence and a passion for inspiring and motivating others
- Significant experience in GxP environments with knowledge in biologics, medical devices manufacturing or clean room / aseptic environments
- Resilience to navigate this developing role with a growth mindset
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication, planning and organisational skills with an eye for detail
- A bachelor or Master of Science in medical, pharmaceutical or relevant life science area
