With this change, there will be some exciting new challenges.


Reporting to and working closely with an experienced Chief Executive, and as a key member of a small and focused leadership team, this senior executive role will influence how the organisation will be viewed in the wider community, regionally and nationally.

You will be expected to lead the development of how the organisation's community-based services will be delivered and sustained in the years ahead, which will be aligned to a new individualised strategic framework, to meet the needs of its community.

The majority of its services are funded through contracts with central government, and the organisation has to ensure that all existing contractual operational delivery and reporting requirements continue to be planned for and met, while it transitions into its future state.

In addition to this focus, there will be the ongoing inspirational leadership and development of managers and their teams.

The future state will require a sustainable high performing team, and this is where you will be expected to build a strong culture around your leadership style.


To be considered for this role, you will have worked in a senior executive leadership role in an organisation with a community service delivery focus, and understand the importance of balancing people's needs with funder's expectations.

You will have had strong working relationships and networks with local community groups, health and wellbeing providers and government agencies.


You must have a proven history of consistent operational business delivery excellence, along with having been involved with transformational change at a senior level.

Well-developed financial, strategic, commercial and analytical skills, sound decision making capabilities, excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills, along with a warm, natural and engaging personal style, are all critical attributes for this role.
