About the Role

What You'll Do
As Release Manager, you will

  • Own and Manage the endtoend Release Management processes, ensuring that all changes are appropriately scheduled, documented, assessed, approved and communicated within agreed lead times.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the processes to meet the needs of the Customer's business and technical areas, in collaboration with IT Business owners, CAB and other relevant parties.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and enable Changes and Releases whilst minimising the risk to ICT environments
  • Effectively and proactively manage all Release Management issues raised for the client, contributing to Continuous Service Improvement activities as required.
  • Ensure all aspects of Release Readiness are accommodated for in preparation for golive including, but not limited to, testing completion, security and privacy readiness, support readiness, operational readiness and overall implementation readiness.
  • Ensure the effective integration of release policy and process with other customer ICT policies and processes including security, SDLC and project management policies and processes.
What You'll Bring

You will have exceptional communication skills, be collaborative and a self-starter who strives to achieve the best outcome for all stakeholders.

You will have the ability to communicate technical concepts and align them with client business goals and objectives. Analytical skills are important in this role, along with strong administrative and organisational skills.
