About the opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working with all members of the Carbn Team, the Senior Financial Administrator takes overall accountability for the performance of the finance and administration functions.

In doing this, the Senior Financial Administrator will primarily focus on:

  • Assisting for the development of all finance and administrative processes and systems to ensure that data is captured and reported accurately.
  • Prepare all monthly financial reports for review by the COO and CEO in accordance with established processes
  • Ensure cashflow is monitored and well managed and banking facilities are in place to meet the needs of the business.
  • Manage all administrative processes to enable the smooth and efficient operation of the office and business.


This is a hands-on role that is central to the effective and efficient running of the business and would suit an organised, proactive, and experienced person who has the capability to ensure the business operates to the highest standards.

About you

To be successful as the Senior Financial Administrator, you will have significant experience managing accounts administration and preparing key financial reports across a range of commercial enterprises.

Experience within financial services and a working understanding of leasing and/or loan documentation is an advantage.


You pride yourself on your ability to develop effective and workable processes and systems that allow you and the team to obtain information and reports quickly.

People often describe you as "the glue" in the business - keeping things running smoothly and being the centre of all the knowledge.

What will set you apart as the one for this role will be your "can-do" approach to work and life and your willingness to get hands-on into the detail - if there is something that needs doing, you are very happy to roll up your sleeves and get it done
