Mō te tūnga | The role


This role is based in the Wellington CBD area and is a unique opportunity to be apart of creating better outcomes for New Zealander's.

Reporting to the Manager - Data Labs. You will work in the Data Services branch of Data System Leadership. Data Services aims to connect clients with the right statistical information they need for their research.

The branch does this by providing customised statistical datasets, supporting researcher access to detail statistical data, and engaging with all parts of New Zealand society to explain the value of official statistics and the statistical products and services available to government, business, and the community.


As an Advisor for the Data Lab, you will be accountable for the management of microdata access services and relationship coordination between Statistics New Zealand and researchers using our microdata access services.
