Make the right choice

As Category Manager, you will sit at the heart of Kiwicare's marketing team, leading the 3-year category strategy, and portfolio growth across our channels and markets. You will drive profit through delivering actionable insights and data analysis to ensure portfolio health across range and price define innovation opportunities along with revenue growth.   You will be a great communicator with strong relationship building skills to enable collaboration with our customers and internal stakeholders.

Location is flexible, can be Based in Auckland or Christchurch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category plans, monitor market trends, and identify growth opportunities
  • Developing the quarterly market landscapes, sharing any insights with the wider team.
  • Lead the pricing & portfolio management to deliver ongoing portfolio and category health
  • Deliver trade marketing tools & support for the core range to ensure that we are maximising sales and profit
  • Monitor pricing to ensure that we maintain competitiveness and ongoing profit security
  • Develop and support range reviews attending meetings
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and wider teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes and business outcomes

What you'll bring with you

  • 5+ years' experience in category management, including marketing campaign delivery management preferably within FMCG or other similar consumer business
  • Highly proficient in data analysis with the ability to build the story to gain buy in from key stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen, experience in revenue growth is desirable
  • Proven strong communication & relationship building skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and deliver results
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or related field, with highly organised, process-oriented, and self-motivated approach
