**About the Role**
Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting** Learning & Development Manager** role just for you In this position, you’ll get to provide a strategic learning and development support service to all levels of the organisation and manage the company’s communications function to contribute to the achievement of the company’s key business goals, making a real impact.
- Designing and delivering specialist training programmes at all levels across the company, with emphasis on management level training.
- Compiling an annual training plan and schedules for business unit budgets.
- Improving the skills and competencies of employees by implementing and managing relevant learning and development programmes, pathways, e-learning platforms, and databases.
- Working with the Training Champions Group to ensure consistency of learning outcomes and supporting training champions with the implementation of learning initiatives for the training Institutes.
- Liaising with industry training organisations and providers on vocational pathways development.
- Managing relationships with key training providers to ensure the delivery of specialist training.
- Compiling learning and development information for business tenders as required by operations.
- Developing companywide competency risk-based framework to provide consistency across the business.
- Understanding and implementing the company health and safety policy and taking reasonable care of own health and safety and the health and safety of others.
- Setting a personal example on all matters of health and safety and participate in Perimeter/BU worker participation practices.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or similar field is required.
- Competence in the design and delivery of learning programmes through relevant platforms.
- High level oral and written communication skills.
- Sound organisation and planning skills, with special reference to the administrative and project requirements of the position.
- Ability to provide management with advice on a range of required people development initiatives.
- Able to identify and recommend key learning outcomes for the business.
- Flexibility to work in multiple business locations.
