The Taukaea Policy team is looking for a Business Process Specialist to join our team.

Ara Whiwhi Mahi - The opportunity

This specialist administrative role oversees the quality and publication of documents and communications on the Tax policy website and in ministerial reports, ensuring materials are ready for web release.

In this role you will:

  • prepare and format documents to a professional standard, ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • support the bill process and publication preparation
  • administer and update website content, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with organisational standards
  • work alongside the Information Specialist L2 to ensure our information and knowledge management and information sharing systems and practices are accurate and up to date.

Mōu - About you

You'll be a team player who gets a kick out of helping our internal customers and will have the following:

  • Proven experience in desktop publishing and document formatting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS is an advantage
  • Strong relationship and communication skills

Policy advises Government on a range of tax and social policy issues. We research and develop policy options and present policy recommendations to senior officials and ministers. We also prepare the legislation arising from those policy recommendations and support it through the legislative process.
