Are you passionate about active transport and making a real difference in your community? We're looking for an enthusiastic Active Transport Advisor (Cycle Skills Advisor) to join our team on a fixed-term basis until 30 June hours per week, term time only).

About the Role

· Support the delivery and ongoing improvement of our active transport programme across the region.

· Build strong relationships with schools, workplaces, and key stakeholders to promote cycling and walking for recreation and commuting.

· Advocate for sustainable transport, championing the benefits of active lifestyles.

· Gather insights and help design interventions that increase cycling uptake in schools and workplaces.

· Support the delivery of our Cycling in Schools programme and related events.

· Ensure our work is inclusive, empowering, and reflective of the diverse communities we serve.

What We're Looking For

· A genuine commitment to our community and a passion for making a positive impact.

· An understanding of, or willingness to train as, a BikeReady Cycle Skills instructor.

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

· Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

· A commitment to valuing diversity and promoting equity and inclusion in all aspects of your work.

· A drive to strive for excellence, continuously improving our programmes and outcomes.
