Kia ora We're looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our Digital Transformation team at Heartland. Here's what you need to know:

Is this your next role?  
As a Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in capturing and translating business requirements into effective digital solutions. You'll work across both functional and technical domains, helping deliver initiatives that support Heartland's strategy to digitalise everything we do.

You're an experienced Business Analyst with excellent critical thinking and communication skills. You're proactive, flexible, and thrive in fast-paced environments. You know how to connect with a wide range of stakeholders and bring clarity to complex problems.

You'll bring:

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or digital transformation programmes
  • Proven capability across both functional and technical domains
  • Solid understanding of business process modelling, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and digital delivery practices
  • Technical aptitude in data analysis, system integration, and enterprise platforms
  • Strong functional BA skills: requirements elicitation, documentation, and process design (Agile, epics, user stories, BPMN)
  • Exposure to AI, automation, and digital engagement platforms (e.g. Pega, Genesys) is advantageous
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries (preferred)
