ASSISTANT CLINIC COORDINATOR – LOCAL DOCTORS – LINCOLN ROAD 

Support clinic operations and frontline staff
Assist the Clinic Manager in daily service delivery
Full-time permanent role, 42 hours per week

Local Doctors Lincoln Road in Henderson is seeking an organised and people-focused Assistant Clinic Coordinator to support the Clinic Manager in running a busy GP clinic. You will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality service standards, assisting staff development, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Clinic Manager with day-to-day clinic operations and service delivery

  • Support, coach, and train frontline clinic staff, including Medical Receptionists

  • Assist with rostering and provide cover for reception staff as required

  • Ensure accurate invoicing, claims processing, and revenue management

  • Maintain clinic equipment, facilities, and health & safety standards

  • Support patient enrolments, recalls, and follow-ups

  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and maintain staff certification records

  • Address patient concerns professionally while maintaining confidentiality

  • Communicate effectively with the clinic team and contribute to a positive workplace culture

What We're Looking For

  • Secondary qualification; tertiary qualification preferred

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in General Practice or Emergency Department

  • Strong customer service and complaint management experience

  • Ability to coach, train, and support staff effectively

  • Proficiency with MedTech and other clinic systems

  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work independently

  • Commitment to equity and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi

  • Legal right to work in New Zealand
