Babbage is a multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering integrated solutions across architecture, engineering, ecology and project management. We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Facilities Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our Auckland office and ensure our workplace runs smoothly.

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for facilities, supplies, fleet coordination, building operations and general office readiness. You'll help create a positive experience for staff, clients and visitors while supporting seamless processes across the business.

This role reports directly to our Office Manager.

You will also be responsible for:

Office & Kitchen Support

  • Keeping print areas, shared spaces and work areas tidy and well-presented
  • Ordering and maintaining stationery, printer paper and office consumables
  • Managing groceries, kitchen supplies, milk and fruit deliveries
  • Ensuring kitchens are clean, stocked and ready for busy periods

Facilities, Cleaners & Building Support

  • Liaising with cleaners daily and following up on any requests or performance issues
  • Maintaining restrooms and replenishing consumables
  • Managing recycling, cardboard and organic waste and coordinating collection schedules
  • Cleaning and maintaining the office coffee machine, including consumables and technician callouts

Fleet Coordination

  • Maintaining registers for WOFs, servicing, registrations and general vehicle upkeep
  • Coordinating vehicle servicing, repairs and cleaning
  • Liaising with panel beaters and mechanics, with finance and marketing where needed

Health, Safety & Supplies

  • Replenishing office and vehicle first-aid kits
  • Supporting office safety requirements as directed by the Office Manager

Team & Event Support

  • Assisting with small internal events, activities and promotions
  • Providing back-up support to the Business Support & Marketing team as required

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in facilities coordination, office support or a similar operational role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and general business systems
  • Full NZ driver's licence
  • Reliability, integrity and a positive, team-focused attitude
