What you'll do

Manage day-to-day finance tasks – prepare payroll, reconcile invoices & credit cards & prepare all domestic and international payments.

Monitor cashflow, manage the GL with journals and work with our external accountancy firm to prepare all compliance documentation.

Prepare monthly and annual financial accounts, prepare and submit all documentation for the IRD. Run some regular reports for different teams in our business.

Manage the trade finance facility.

Work closely with our Customer Care Team to ensure we manage financial interactions with our customers well.

Some management accounting to help the business make decisions.

About the role

This is a part time role based in our office on the edge of the CBD.

15 – 20 hours per week, ideally worked across 4 or 5 days. Can be suited to a parent who wants to work within school hours with some flexibility around how you structure your week.

Currently we use Accredo as our accounting package.

What you'll bring

We're looking for a person who brings a positive mindset, is proactive and thrives in a team-focused environment. You will be used to taking responsibility for the accounting function in a business.

An accounting or finance background with proven experience managing all the finance tasks in a small business.

Exposure to importing and maximising a trade finance facility would be an advantage.

Strong excel and analytical skills.

Detail oriented.

Some experience migrating financial systems would be a benefit.
