Mō Te Tūranga - About The Role
As a Banking Consultant in our Manukau Mall Branch team, you'll play a vital role in supporting everyday banking needs, building trusted relationships, and guiding customers through simple and sometimes life-changing financial decisions. Whether it's assisting with a quick transaction or introducing someone to our digital tools, you'll make banking feel approachable and easy.
- Deliver friendly, hands-on support across everyday banking activities
- Listen to what matters most to each customer and tailor your service to suit

Role Type: Part-time, Permanent Opportunity
Work Schedule: 22.5 hours per week. Schedule includes one Saturday; specific days to be confirmed

- Welcome customers and help them with a range of banking needs
- Have meaningful conversations to understand what matters to each customer
- Introduce digital banking tools in a way that feels simple and empowering
- Guide customers through opening accounts, updating details, or exploring new products

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Exceptional customer focus - retail experience is an advantage,
- Experience in being a user and promoter of technology - working knowledge in using different digital channels is an advantage,
- Ability to multi-task and highly adaptable to change and ambiguity,
- Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment,
- Sound understanding of compliance, and
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in one or more Asian languages—such as Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or similar—is preferred to support our diverse client base.
