Your Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our team, reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Team Leader. This role is based at our East Tamaki site.

Working alongside a part-time Accounts Payable colleague, your responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice matching, coding, and payments.  Large volume around 1,800 invoices per month across New Zealand and Australia
  • Investigating discrepancies and ensuring compliance with the delegated authority approval levels
  • Managing vendor payments (weekly, monthly) and performing reconciliations
  • Responding to supplier and internal queries professionally and promptly
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve AP processes

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you'll demonstrate:

  • Experience in end-to-end accounts payable, ideally in high-volume environments
  • Minimum 5 years experience in an account payable role
  • Background in manufacturing and/or construction will be highly regarded
  • Resilient and well-organised, especially under pressure
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and with suppliers
  • Strong reconciliation and data entry skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word
