My client is a well-known brand in the New Zealand construction industry and is part of a larger global organization. They have been operating in New Zealand for over 30 years, specialising in supplying products and services to the construction industry and covering a large portion of the market, with a broad range of customers and clients. The offices are located in East Tamaki close to the motorway with parking available onsite. This is a great chance to join a supportive and collaborative team on 3-month contract that could be extended.

**The Role**

In this role you will be working within a finance team of 4 and will report into the finance manager. This role is an Accounts Payable position and will be responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Payable function. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing full function accounts payable process
- Maintaining the Accounts Payable inbox and ensuring that invoices are matched correctly with purchase orders
- Assisting with the reconciliations of supplier invoices against updated statements
- Posting and processing Accounts Payable invoices
- Filing documents accurately
- General ad-hoc administration duties to support the wider team.

**Skills & Experience**

We are looking for an individual who has proven Accounts Payable experience in a similar role. You will have strong attention to detail, ability to prioritise and be comfortable communicating to the wider business.

You will be strong on excel and will have used multiple systems, as well as being comfortable working in a manual and high volume environment.
