Short Description:

Senior SAP FICO Finance Functional Consultant with over 10 years of experience in SAP environments, specializing in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. This role focuses on end-to-end implementation, BAU support, and continuous improvement of SAP Finance solutions, including S/4HANA migrations, financial reporting, and compliance across diverse industries.

Location: Auckland, NZ

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Implementation and support of SAP Financials and Controlling modules
• Design, configuration and testing of SAP Finance modules
• Experience in S4/HANA Migrations – Understand the concepts, strategy and tools
• Understand client's current Finance landscape and provide solution options
• Work closely with client for troubleshooting investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps client business
• Work with client's Architecture, Design and Change forums where non-standard solutions are required.
• Suggest solutions to customer based on best business practices so that Customer gets Business benefits by following the SAP standard processes in SAP/HANA space
• Work with other module SAP Consultants for Integration requirements.
• Provide Functional Specifications to Technical team for any Customized developments.
• Knowledge of SAP's innovations for Finance, particularly S/4HANA and related Cloud extension solutions and articulating their value to business and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain functional documentation for all SAP customisations and interfaces.
• Coordinate with other SAP Consultants and SMEs from other applications for Integrations with SAP.

Skill / Competencies / Experience:

ESSENTIAL

• Good knowledge of technology landscape to be able to guide team.
• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

PREFERRED

• 7+ years of SAP support/implementation/migration/conversion experience in SAP FICO
• SAP Financial reporting tools and Fiori apps
• SAP Solution Design
• SAP Activate project methodology, accelerators and Best Practises
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Global Delivery, work with team members and experts from other geographies.
• Experience with Banking/Financial Services clients preferable
