Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management Consultant to assist with the configuration and integration of the SAP Embedded/Side-by-Side Transportation Management (TM) modules within SAP S/4HANA. This role involves working closely with team leads and other functional consultants to design, implement, and deliver end-to-end logistics execution solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with
    configuration
    work in
    SAP Embedded/Side-by-Side Transportation Management (TM)
    modules in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Collaborate with
    Team Lead
    and functional consultants to design
    integration processes
    with other SAP modules and manage the end-to-end flow of logistics execution.
  • Design solutions for
    3PL
    (Third-Party Logistics) and
    4PL
    (Fourth-Party Logistics), with experience in
    freight collaboration
    ,
    LBN (Logistics Business Network)
    , and
    freight visibility
    applications (preferred).
  • Analyze and define business requirements, processes, and objectives to scope the project and its deliverables.
  • Write
    functional specifications
    for complex customizations and enhancements.
  • Conduct
    end-to-end impact assessments
    and ensure the design of
    flawless solutions
    .
  • Ensure
    timely delivery
    of client deliverables in line with project timelines.
  • Develop and mentor junior team members
    , fostering a collaborative work environment with clients and other partners in a multi-vendor setting.
  • Maintain
    technical architecture documents
    ,
    end-user documentation
    , and
    operational procedures
    throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Follow the
    Activate methodology
    for SAP project implementation.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas, findings, and project updates with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science
    ,
    Information Systems
    , or a related field.
  • Minimum
    12 years of experience
    as a functional consultant in SAP, with
    3+ years
    specifically in
    SAP S/4HANA TM
    .
  • At least
    1 full SAP S/4HANA project lifecycle implementation
    experience in
    Transportation Management (TM)
    .
  • Strong experience with
    SAP Finance
    and
    Controlling (FICO)
    modules, including configuration and customization.
  • Certification
    in
    SAP S/4HANA TM
    module (required).
  • Experience in
    3PL/4PL logistics solutions
    and
    freight visibility
    tools.
  • Familiarity with
    Logistics Business Network (LBN)
    and
    freight collaboration
    technologies.
  • Experience with
    Activate project methodology
    and SAP best practices.
