About the Role

We are looking for an accomplished
SAP EWM Functional Lead
to join our client's high-performing team and drive the end-to-end implementation of Warehouse and Inventory Management solutions in
SAP S/4HANA
. This leadership role requires deep process expertise, strong integration experience, and the ability to steer complex delivery in a multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Lead the design and configuration of
    SAP EWM and IM/MM
    within S/4HANA.
  • Define EWM process models including
    Inbound, Outbound, Production Integration, Yard Management, Returns, Shipping, Quality Inspection, Physical Inventory
    , and special processes (Import/Export).
  • Ensure accurate end-to-end logistics and accounting document flows.
  • Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and translate business requirements into optimized functional designs.

Integration & Technical Expertise

  • Lead integration of SAP EWM with internal modules and
    3PL systems
    .
  • Design and govern interfaces using
    SAP CPI (ODATA, SOAP, APIs)
    .
  • Prepare functional specifications and lead end-to-end impact assessment for complex enhancements.
  • Support automation initiatives using SAP BPA and warehouse automation technologies.
  • Oversee RF framework design for warehousing operations.

Delivery Leadership

  • Drive workstream deliverables, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively within a
    multi-vendor and distributed delivery
    environment.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring solution integrity across global teams.
  • Mentor and develop junior consultants; support knowledge sharing and capability uplift.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 10+ years of SAP experience
    , including
    7+ years in SAP EWM/IM
    with proven S/4HANA expertise.
  • Minimum
    2 full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations
    , including one greenfield.
  • Strong hands-on configuration of EWM and MM/IM processes and RF solutions.
  • Proven expertise across end-to-end logistics processes:

Inbound / Outbound

Production Integration

Inventory & Physical Inventory

Yard Management

Shipping / Returns

Quality Inspection

Import / Export

  • Experience in integrating SAP with
    3PL systems
    via SAP CPI.
  • Demonstrated ability to write detailed functional specifications and design robust interfaces with strong error-handling mechanisms.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
    in managing teams and deliverables.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • SAP
    S/4HANA EWM Certification

    , mobile warehousing, and automation technologies.
  • Understanding of global logistics and supply chain business models.
