Head of Social & Influencers - 12 Month Maternity Contract
We're looking for a senior leader to oversee Thompson Spencer's social and influencer work. You'll set direction, guide clients, grow opportunities, and support a high-performing team. The focus is on clear strategy, strong relationships, and work that drives meaningful outcomes.

About You:
- 8+ Years Experience in Social & influencer expertise
with a deep understanding of how to build integrated strategies that drive results across digital and offline channels.
- Strategic thinking
with the ability to spot growth opportunities and guide clients with long-term insights.
- Leadership & mentorship
with proven experience in leading and developing account teams.
- Growth & commercial impact:
proactively identify and shape client opportunities that convert to measurable sales/revenue (e.g., upsell, cross-sell, pilots, and new services)
- Analytical mindset
and confidence in extracting insights from data to solve complex client challenges.
- Stakeholder management
, skilled in engaging high-level client and internal stakeholders with professionalism and influence.
- Resilience & integrity,
with the ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure, while maintaining the highest professional standards.

- Social & Influencer Expertise -
lead channel strategy and best practice across platforms; guide content, creators, community, and paid amplification to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Client Leadership
- provide strategic guidance, foster long-term relationships, and align campaigns with client business objectives.
Revenue Growth & Opportunity
identify and drive new opportunities to strengthen client partnerships and deliver business growth.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team, from career development, to management of workflow and ensuring deadlines & budget stay on track.
Stakeholder Management
engage confidently with senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader goals.
Client Retention
manage and improve engagement and retention metrics for long-term client success
Commercial Management
oversee billable targets, ensuring effort aligns with client growth potential and agency revenue goals.
Industry Engagement
actively contribute to industry forums, discussions, and thought leadership.
