About the Role

Live Wires Contracting Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Rotorua, Bay of Plenty. As a full-time Maintenance shift Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our client's electrical systems and equipment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective solutions
  • Carry out electrical installations, repairs, and modifications as required
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and technicians to coordinate and complete projects

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Electrician with a current Electrical Registration or License
  • Proven track record of effectively troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and attention to detail
