We're on the lookout for a passionate Registered Nurse (with at least five years' experience) to join our Community Services team in a full-time, permanent role. If you're driven to make a real difference in people's lives, this is your opportunity to do just that.
In this role, you'll support clients living with long-term conditions, with a special focus on Diabetes. You'll carry out health assessments, deliver tailored interventions, and lead health promotion initiatives that empower clients and their whānau to achieve their best possible wellbeing.
Based at either our Tauranga or Papamoa clinics, you'll be out and about with access to company vehicles and surrounded by a fun, supportive team that's passionate about helping our community thrive
- Delivering high-quality health assessments and interventions for our clients and their whānau (family).
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integrated care delivery for clients with long term health conditions.
- Facilitating empowerment for self-management
- Providing education and support to whānau to improve general health practices.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation in accordance with professional standards.
About You:

In every environment, you deliver care grounded in culturally sound and inclusive frameworks that support the wellbeing of Pakeke and Kaumatua.
- Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate
- Experienced in working with Long-term conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in conducting health assessments and developing care plans
- Knowledge of best practices guidelines and current health pathways
- Demonstrated understanding of cultural safety and competence in working with Māori communities
- Commitment to upholding professional standards and ethical practice.
