About the job:
We're looking for an Entry Level Finance Administrator to join our team in Christchurch.
This is a part-time position, working the following hours & days:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
- 9:30am to 2:30pm
- Flexibility to work additional hours may be required from time to time.
The role involves:
- Supporting timely supplier invoice payment processing and timesheet accuracy.
- Supporting out-of-contract and project invoicing, WIP, and debtor management.
- Assist with monthly reporting and supplier statement reconciliation.
- Working closely with a variety of suppliers, internal teams, and external clients.
What you'll need:
The below skills and experience are desirable, but as this is an entry level role, we are happy to consider all levels of experience – if you want to get into financial administration, this role is for you
- At least NCEA Level 1.
- Strong IT and computing skills.
- Experience with processing claims at month end.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Great communication skills for internal and external liaison.
- Confidence using systems (e.g. Pronto or similar ERP tools desirable).
All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer's satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
