About the organisation

Reynolds Group is a leader in packaging and automation technologies, delivering high-performance hardware and software solutions to a diverse range of industries. We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Territory Manager to lead capital sales efforts within the lower North Island region.

This is a pivotal role where you'll manage the full sales cycle—from solution architecture and technical specification through to order receipt—while building strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.

About the role

You'll have autonomy and flexibility to divide your time exploring new business opportunities while managing your call cycle, ensuring results driven engagements, identifying opportunities and understanding your customers' needs.

· You'll be the local point of contract for a number our key accounts within the region, building relationships across multiple sites.

· You'll identify and engage prospects, developing tailored proposals, specifications, quotes, and presentations.

· Understand and manage customer requirements, ensuring solutions meet expectations for quality, price, and delivery.

· Provide on-site technical advice and recommend appropriate technology solutions across Reynolds' product suite.

· Administer client accounts, maintain accurate records, and deliver after-sales support.

· Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.

· Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline data, and CRM records.

What You'll Bring

You'll demonstrate a strong understanding of the sales process with compelling achievements in maintaining and increasing market share and identifying opportunities for growth, networking and relationship building.

· Ideally, proven experience in capital equipment sales or technical solution selling.

· Strong technical acumen and ability to engage with engineering teams.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

· CRM proficiency and a detail-oriented approach to account management.

· A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and customer success.
