Social Media & Meta Ads Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media & Meta Ads Specialist to join our Tauranga-based digital agency. If you're passionate about creating engaging organic content and delivering high-performing Meta ad campaigns, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have strong experience creating and managing organic content across Facebook, Instagram, and other social platforms, combined with hands-on experience running Meta Ads campaigns. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include planning and posting organic content, developing campaign concepts, building and optimising paid Meta campaigns, and reporting on performance. You will also handle day-to-day communication with clients.

You'll be working within a larger creative and technical team that includes backend and frontend developers, copywriters, account managers, Google Ads specialists, graphic designers, and video animators. In this role, you will work closely with our graphic designer to bring campaign ideas to life.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) based in our Tauranga City office, working alongside a team of passionate creatives. Flexible working hours are available.

About You

You're a creative thinker with a natural flair for storytelling and a passion for social media. You understand what makes people stop scrolling, and you enjoy experimenting with new content ideas. You're equally comfortable writing captions as you are reviewing campaign data.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience creating organic social media content
  • Experience running Meta Ads campaigns
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices
  • Excellent written English and top-tier attention to detail
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • The ability to adapt your tone of voice from playful to professional
  • The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
