About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong foundation in nursing education and a commitment to Hauora Maaori to begin their leadership journey. You'll work alongside senior leaders, contribute to programme development, and be supported to grow into a future leader in nursing education.

What You'll Do

  • Support teaching and learning: Co-lead and contribute to the design of innovative nursing education programmes.
  • Grow into leadership: Receive mentorship while gradually taking on leadership responsibilities across programme development.
  • Collaborate and influence: Work with diverse teams to shape culturally responsive and industry-relevant curricula.
  • Champion Hauora Maaori: Contribute to initiatives that improve Maaori health outcomes through education and research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of nursing programmes and curricula aligned with strategic goals.
  • Coordinate timelines and contribute to the delivery of robust academic content.
  • Provide peer support and guidance to programme teams, with mentorship from senior leaders.
  • Collaborate with faculty and academic leaders to prioritise course development.
  • Promote a culture of reflection, growth, and accountability.
  • Contribute to reporting and analytics that inform programme decisions.
