About the Role

Perioperative Services at Te Toka Tumai has an opportunity for an experienced perioperative nurse or anaesthetic technician to further their career, focusing on education, training and development within a passionate perioperative education team

As an Educator Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Promoting, facilitating and providing our education and training programmes, including the education and training of those who are new to OR and PACU,
  • Contributing to regional development and patient focused initiatives.
  • Supporting other disciplines to maximise health care delivery, enhance patient outcomes and promote clinical excellence and evidence-based professional practice.

While the role provides support to all surgical and perioperative areas, your focus will be the scrub/circulating and PACU teams.

This is a fixed term fulltime (1.0 FTE) position working from Monday to Sunday

About You

For this role we are looking for:

  • An experienced registered nurse or anaesthetic technician a with a passion for education,
  • Completion of a Post Graduate Diploma or Masters Degree.
