OJI Fibre Solutions is one of New Zealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries throughout the country. Our customers include blue chip manufacturers and marketers of packaging products to the dairy, horticulture, food, grocery, primary produce, and industrial sectors.

Based at our Corrugated Case site in Mangere Bridge, Auckland. Opportunity to join our busy Prepress/Design team supporting our customers and internal stakeholders (sales and customer service). Bring your design experience to our busy team. You will require strong communication skills, engage well with others and solve issues, be a key part of our production process to ensure a quality product is produced within budget and promised deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customer service, sales & clients to review and action design files.
  • Utilise your strong Adobe Illustrator & Artpro design skills to produce quality design
  • Work with the team to focus on continuous improvement of work practices.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.

To be successful you will have the following:

  • 3 + years' experience in Creative Art Design from packaging/label or print sector ideal
  • Advanced skills: Adobe Illustrator, Artpro
  • Experience with Photoshop & Ekso Web Centre advantageous
  • Flexographic printing knowledge and experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality outcome is a must.
  • Ability to work independently to make decisions when needed.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
