Your new role
We have a passion for customer centricity in all things we do, and our continued growth has created an opening for a National Account Manager, specialising in taking care of and selling to our existing customers. This is a high-energy customer focused role where cold outreach and persistence are key. You'll be responsible for building opportunities from scratch and driving them into the back-to-base pipeline.
This is not a 'plug into the process' kind of role, it's a chance to shape how Vetlink PRO approaches sales and marketing. You'll take full ownership of our HubSpot CRM to keep data clean, campaigns on track, and reporting accurate. HubSpot expertise isn't optional here – it's mandatory. The role requires a candidate who is a trained sales professional, and passionate farmer, who can quickly establish strong relationships and close deals – fast You will be skilled in Software & Payment processing sales and possess Veterinary or Pet industry experience (not essential).
You will be responsible for keeping attrition to a minimum by taking care of our top customers whilst building a strong pipeline of B2B opportunities; before the important part - converting them into wins. By utilising a relationship building, and consultative sales approach. You'll be a hungry and energetic go-getter; striving to exceed agreed targets and driven to push your career onto new levels.
About you – experience & skills needed:
- Prior Software Sales experience - within the industry would be highly regarded.
- Relevant professional sales training would be an advantage.
- You have strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and take care of existing customers (with minimal client escalations).
- You are a natural communicator, well presented & people warm quickly to you.
- You can work autonomously, show initiative and are self-motivated.
- You are well organised, can follow process, and are data and metric driven.
- You're resilient and persistent with the ability to overcome obstacles setbacks, and learn new skills.
- Hit (and exceed) activity targets by staying organised, data-driven and persistent.
