Senior Business Analyst - Cards & Payments

Location: Auckland | Start: ASAP

We're looking for a talented Senior Business Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation for a Payments & Cards project. If you've got a strong background in payments, credit cards, and compliance and love bringing business and technology together; this could be the next great move in your career.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in delivering projects that keep payment and credit card systems aligned with global scheme requirements. Day to day, you'll work closely with business stakeholders, compliance teams, and tech specialists to understand what's changing, what it means for the business, and how to get it delivered smoothly.

In This Role You'll:

  • Lead analysis and documentation for scheme compliance changes.
  • Work with internal and external partners, including third-party payment switches.
  • Turn complex scheme rules into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Support testing, readiness, and delivery across multiple teams.
  • Build strong relationships across compliance, risk, operations, and technology.

What We're Looking ForYou'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, managing detail, and keeping things moving. You'll bring:

  • Hands-on experience delivering Card and Payment Compliance projects (MUST HAVE).
  • A solid background in banking, insurance or financial services.
  • Experience working with third-party processors or switch entities.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Confidence working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
