The Opportunity

Are you ready to take the lead in building a culture of learning and growth across ORC? This is your chance to design and deliver learning initiatives that support our people to grow and succeed, build organisational capability and enable ORC
to deliver for Otago communities.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours
per week) position, preferably based in Dunedin or for the right candidate
could be based in one of our offices in Central Otago.

As our Learning and Capability
Lead, you will:

  • Lead the implementation and optimisation of ORC's
    Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Develop and integrate a competency framework and
    career pathways.
  • Design and deliver leadership development
    programmes.
  • Provide targeted learning solutions to build
    workforce capability.
  • Support cultural confidence and adoption of
    bi-cultural practices.
  • Champion a learning culture that empowers staff and
    leaders.

This is a strategic and hands-on role where you'll collaborate across
the organisation to ensure learning solutions are fit-for-purpose,
future-focused, and aligned with ORC's People Strategy.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Learning and Development, HR,
    Organisational Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years' experience in L&D, OD or
    People & Culture roles, including demonstrated success in leading initiatives.
  • Experience implementing enterprise-wide systems
    such as LMS.
  • Strong knowledge of learning and development best practices.
  • Inclusive, collaborative approach and ability to
    manage multiple priorities.
  • Foundational knowledge of Te Ao Māori, Tikanga and
    Te Tiriti o Waitangi, with a commitment to ongoing learning.
