Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a People & Payroll Specialist, based in Hastings. The individual in this role will be responsible for hiring seasonal staff for the packing and coolstore operations. meeting applicants, ensuring employment documents are completed and filed correctly. Conducting staff inductions and processing payroll, administering payroll systems, ensuring compliance with payroll legislation. In addition, the role involves maintaining accurate records, addressing payroll inquiries, and collaborating with other team members to ensure timely and accurate payroll services.

Qualifications

Experience in Payroll Processing, Payroll Administration, and Payroll Services

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in payroll records

Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines

Ability to collaborate effectively in an on-site team environment

Prior experience in a related role or industry is advantageous
