This newly created role will shape how the award winning, entrepreneurial, and privately held business, Hawk Group, deliver on quality, compliance, safety, and assurance across its three companies - Hawk Group Ltd, Hawk Technology Ltd, and Hawk Automation Ltd.  As Group Manager, Safety and Assurance, you'll lead the development and oversight of systems and processes that provide assurance across their export product specifications, as well as keeping operations and people safe, compliant, and consistent.

Reporting to the GM Risk, Safety and Assurance, this key role ensures the Group operates in line with legal, regulatory, HSE, quality and industry requirements.  Central to your success will be the ability to create consistency across business operations.  You will be translating technical requirements into practical, everyday processes that staff can easily adopt.  You will be developing and implementing compliance frameworks spanning manufacturing, engineering and service activities.  Oversight of health, safety, environment, food packaging and quality processes and obligations, monitoring performance through conducting verifications and audits, and supporting operational teams to deliver safe, reliable outcomes every day sit with you.  The owners are fast-paced and truly nimble.  Your leadership will be defined by a passion for doing the right thing, demonstrated in the way you work alongside staff, guiding and empowering them to achieve excellence at every level. 

We're looking for a quality, safety and/or assurance specialist, someone who brings both the technical expertise and the practical know‑how to make standards come alive in everyday operations.  You'll have proven qualifications and experience working with and understanding ISO frameworks, food, quality, or safety requirements, product specifications, compliance obligations, and internal auditing, ideally gained within manufacturing, engineering, or automation industries.  It's an exciting time to contribute your leadership and grow with a team deeply committed to a culture of innovation, excellence, and the future of the horticulture industry.  Remuneration reflects the scope and scale of this role.  If you can demonstrate the relevant experience, then we would love to hear from you.
