Due to growing business demand, LivSpace is expanding its operation into the Lower South Island region leveraging CARTERS' extensive customer network of developers, independent builders and Group Home customers. This exciting move marks a significant step in LivSpace and CARTERS becoming a one-stop destination for end-to-end interiors offering (flooring and kitchens) and construction solutions.

To spearhead this new integrated offering, we're looking for a Mobile Flooring Sales/Project Manager based in Central Otago who will collaborate with CARTERS' Account Managers in the field who have established relationships and connections across our branch network in the Central Otago, Southern Lakes, Dunedin and Invercargill region.

As the Mobile Flooring Sales/Project Manager you will aim to deliver high-quality hard and soft flooring solutions for our trade customers.

You will divide your time between meeting customers onsite or in their homes. You will take customers through the end-to-end sales processes from presenting samples, measuring, quantifying, quoting, managing installations and after sales support.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in flooring sales & project management in flooring installation, established connections with installers and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

The key functions for this role includes:

  • Working closely with clients to understand their requirements and preferences tailored to their flooring needs
  • Helping customers to select materials and finishes that are appropriate for the application and client preferences
  • Measuring, quantifying and pricing
  • Working with Account Managers to convert consultations into sales
  • Delivering an outstanding client experience, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the consultation, quoting and install process

Skills & Experience:

  • Solid background in soft and/or hard flooring in the retail or commercial sector
  • Technically capable, understands products and installation
  • Sound measuring, quantifying & pricing experience
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Project management experience - organised, detailed with exceptional time management & multitasking abilities.
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
