About the role

Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They're among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.

We're looking for an Enterprise Risk Manager to be a key member of our New Zealand team. You'll be responsible for implementing cross-functional elements of the risk management framework, including governance structures, maintenance of RAS, and the monitoring and reporting of daily risk exposures.

What you'll be doing

• Advising the Risk team and wider business on running the governance cycle, collaborating with committee chairs and senior leadership
• Developing and implementing risk policies, procedures, key risk indicators, and the risk appetite statement
• Tracking risks against limits and thresholds, and producing reports for stakeholders
• Supporting the risk incident management process, including registering risk events and managing and delivering incident reports to management and regulators
• Providing guidance on identifying and assessing inherent, net, and residual risks and related internal controls
• Monitoring KRI breaches and working with risk owners and the group risk team to resolve them within set timelines
• Assisting in the New Initiatives Approval Process, and ensuring appropriate local SME stakeholder engagement and governance
• Using cutting-edge risk tools and systems to monitor our risk profile

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in risk management (preferably within financial services)
• A background in enterprise risk management, operational risk management, or related role in a financial institution
• An analytical mindset with a proven ability to interpret and organise complex data
• An organisational and methodical approach with close attention to detail
• Impeccable problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• A degree or certification in risk management
• Experience in fintech
• Experience using SQL
