**Responsibilities**:
- Respond to requests for support by client end-users, other support staff, and vendors using strong customer service and communication skills.
- Remote administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server solutions for Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, O365, Azure.
- Administer and troubleshoot virtualization environments (HyperV and VMWare).
- Use industry standard concepts to administer and troubleshoot SAN and NAS technology.
- Provide administration support for Microsoft server roles such as DFS & File servers, print services, terminal services, Application Services, IIS, and Network Policy and Access Services.
- Provide support for enterprise level Antivirus solutions.
- Utilize enterprise level ticket and monitoring system following best practice documentation and escalation processes.
- Follow company and client processes to maintain consistent high level of support.
- Manage ticket workflow process from start to finish engaging proper resources including higher level support staff, customer contacts, and 3rd party vendors.
- Perform maintenance tasks including patch management, software and firmware updates, server and network hardware reboots, disk expansions, and other tasks as assigned.
- Aid in the support of network support for LAN, WAN, switching, routing, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Maintain strong communication and customer service skills while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Windows server support.
- Intermediate knowledge of networking concepts.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Availability to work in shifts, after hours and some weekends
- Linux flavor support a plus, but not required
Software Knowledge
- Windows Server 2008-2016.
- Virtualization concepts in both Microsoft HyperV and VMware.
- DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, DFS, File & Print Sharing, IIS, NPS.
- Experience using enterprise monitoring and ticketing system (Remedy, Kaseya, SolarWinds, ManageEngine, etc.)
- PowerShell and Batch Scripting experience a plus.
- Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2013, O365 administration experience a must
- MS SharePoint and SQL experience a plus.
Network Knowledge
- LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, Switching, Routing, WiFi.
- Cisco IOS experience a plus.
- VOIP experience a plus.
Hardware Knowledge
- HP and Dell Servers.
- Storage Technology including SAN and NAS.
