Are you more than just an academic? Are you a mentor, a guide, and a catalyst for change? At academyEX, we're looking for someone special to join our mission.
We believe in the transformative power of education, and we're searching for an Academic Delivery Manager who shares our passion for guiding working professionals on a journey of discovery. This isn't just a job; it's a calling. It's for someone who finds joy in seeing students connect with their learning, challenge their own thinking, and grow into the leaders of tomorrow.
About Us
At academyEX, we're redefining postgraduate education. We cater to working professionals, offering them the tools to navigate the complexities of the modern world through our Master of Technological Futures (MTF) and Master of Change and Organisational Resilience (MCOR) programmes. We are a team of innovators and forward-thinkers, and we pride ourselves on creating a learning environment that is both challenging and deeply supportive.
The Role
As our new Academic Delivery Manager, you will be at the heart of our students' experience. You will be their guide, their mentor, and their biggest supporter.
You will:
- Provide one-to-one academic coaching and guidance, helping our students to navigate their postgraduate journey with confidence.
- Facilitate engaging, interactive learning sessions —both online and in-person —that spark curiosity and foster a sense of community.
- Collaborate with our passionate academic team to design and deliver dynamic, learner-centred educational experiences.
- Champion the development of our students' academic skills, from research design to critical thinking and academic writing.
- Supervise and mentor students as they undertake practice-based Master 's-level projects, helping them apply their learning to real-world challenges.
About You
We are looking for a truly unique individual. You are an academic at heart, but you are also a people person. You are:
- An Innovative Thinker: You are not afraid to challenge the status quo. You are constantly looking for new and better ways to engage students and to bring learning to life.
- A Master of Interpersonal Skills: You are a natural communicator and relationship-builder. You are empathetic, approachable, and you have a genuine desire to connect with and understand our students.
- Deeply Empathetic: You understand the challenges of postgraduate study, especially for working professionals. You are patient, supportive, and you know how to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- An Accomplished Academic: You have a strong academic background, with a Master's degree as a minimum. Ideally, you will have a PhD or be working towards one, and you will have a solid understanding of research methods and academic conventions.
- Mission-Driven: You believe in the power of education to change lives. You are passionate about our mission and excited to be part of a team making a real difference.
What We Offer
- A vibrant and supportive team environment where you can be yourself and do your best work.
- The opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our students.
- A competitive salary and benefits package.
- A commitment to your own professional growth and development
Our Values
Our organisational values are anchored in Te Ara Kōtihi, our teaching and learning strategy. Nā tō rourou, nā taku rourou ka ora ai te iwi. With your contribution and my contribution, we will thrive.
- Rangatiratanga: We empower our people to stand in their own authority and to express themselves in ways that enhance their mana.
- Manaaki: We nurture and care for each other through our intentions, our energy, our conversations, and our actions.
- Ako: We believe in the power of reciprocal learning and the importance of strong, positive relationships.
- Pono: We are accountable and responsible for our actions, and we operate with transparency, truth, and integrity in everything we do.
Ready to Join Us?
If you are an innovative, empathetic, and mission-driven academic who is ready to take on a new challenge, we would love to hear from you. Apply now to join us on our journey to reshape the future of education. If you have any questions, please contact
